Exclusive PAX East 2025 Day 3 Coverage – Games, Dev Secrets, And Moments You Won’t Find Anywhere Else

PAX East 2025 delivered another packed weekend of games, fans, and dev showcases, and Noisy Pixel was right there on the show floor. This year’s convention emphasized collaboration and creativity, and our latest video captures that spirit through conversations with the developers shaping what’s next. In case you missed Day One and Day Two of our coverage, please check it out.

Behaviour Interactive kicked things off with a look back at nearly ten years of Dead by Daylight. Their latest move? A crossover with Five Nights at Freddy’s. The team discussed their approach to honoring the source material, including working closely with Matthew Lillard and diving deep into gameplay archives to get the tone just right.

Indie publishing label Indie IO showed how smaller studios are making waves with distinct ideas. One standout was Voidsayer, a roguelike blending Lovecraftian monster design with creature-catching elements. It offers a grim but stylized world that feels both punishing and imaginative.

Dark Machine Games debuted White Knuckle, a roguelike horror climbing sim that uses physics-based movement to amp up tension. The team highlighted its early access roadmap, shaped largely by player feedback. It’s a different spin on survival, merging environmental fear with mechanical challenge.

Atari surprised us with Missile Command Delta, a radical reimagining of the classic arcade shooter. The new version incorporates turn-based strategy and card mechanics, layered with escape room-style puzzles. It’s unexpected, and that’s exactly the point.

Toge Productions continues to build momentum for Indonesian game development. Whisper Mountain Outbreak adds regional storytelling to survival horror, with a strong visual identity and tense cooperative gameplay.

Funcom also had a major presence, offering one last preview of Dune: Awakening. The MMO blends survival gameplay with a persistent world, all built around the lore-heavy foundation of Herbert’s universe.

Beyond the demos and interviews, the video captures what makes PAX East tick, community energy, unexpected moments, and a shared passion for games. Expect a few bloopers, caffeine-fueled chats, and plenty of excitement from both sides of the booth.
