Dreamland says it is supporting the emergency services in their enquiries after the death of a 21-year-old man at a drum ‘n’ bass festival.
The event in Margate was shut down hours earlier than planned following the tragic incident at the weekend.

The man was blue-lighted from the rave to QEQM Hospital in a serious condition and later died.
Theme park bosses have now spoken out for the first time since the death was announced.
A spokesman told KentOnline: “We are supporting the emergency services’ enquiries.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s friends and family at this difficult, sad time.”
The event was shut down at about 5.40pm on Saturday.

Thousands of fans poured out into the streets of Margate, and several police teams were sent to the seafront to prevent disorder.
A police spokesperson said yesterday: “We have been made aware that a man in his 20s who had been taken to hospital following a medical incident at Dreamland has subsequently died.
“Officers are making enquiries into the circumstances of the death, which is not believed to be suspicious.
“A report is being prepared for the coroner.”
At the time of the sudden closure, Dreamland bosses said it was due to the 29°C heat.

In a Facebook post, they said: “Sorry guys, it was just too hot today, so we had to close early.
“Get home safely.”
It is the second year in a row that tragedy has struck at Dreamland during a drum ‘n’ bass rave.
Emily Stokes, 17, died in hospital after overdosing on MDMA at the Worried About Henry event in June 2024.
An inquest into her death found that medical staff did not have the knowledge or equipment to effectively treat her before she reached A&E.
This year, stringent security was put in place, and medical staff were visible throughout the venue.
