A moped rider has died after a crash in the early hours of the morning.
The A20 Terrace Road in Maidstone was shut for several hours following a collision involving a black Piaggio Vespa close to the junction with White Rock Place.
The crash on the one-way system took place at about 3.10am, with police now confirming a man in his 30s died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
Officers are now appealing for information from any witnesses who may be able to help.
Motorists who were in the area are urged to check for any dashcam footage, which may assist the investigation.
