Man shot while playing video games inside his home, suspects on the run

SAN ANTONIO – A man was injured after being shot while playing video games inside his home.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Saturday at the corner of Pasadena Street and Santa Paula Avenue.

The San Antonio Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in progress, and upon arrival, they located the victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound.

The victim told investigators he was in his room playing video games when he heard gunfire from outside. Moments later, he realized he had been struck.

The injury was determined to be a graze wound, and EMS treated him at the scene. He did not require hospitalization.

The suspects fled the area before police arrived. Their identities remain unknown, as well as why they shot the victim.
