LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The gaming win on the Las Vegas Strip dropped for a fourth consecutive month in May, according to new figures released Friday.
Non-restricted licensees on the Strip reported a win revenue of about $713.77 million last month, per the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
That’s down nearly 3.9% compared to May 2024, when the gaming win on the Strip was $742.51 million.
Statewide, the gaming win tumbled about 2.2% year-over-year, down from $1.32 billion in May 2024 to $1.29 billion in May 2025.
Casinos in Downtown Las Vegas and on the Boulder Strip also saw their gaming wins drop compared to the year-ago month, while the wins were up in North Las Vegas, Laughlin, Mesquite and the rest of Clark County.
Gaming win figures are one component of understanding the state of Las Vegas tourism. Flyer numbers at Harry Reid International Airport also fell in May for a fourth straight month.
Visitation numbers from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority are expected to be released later Friday.
